I am a figurative painter who works predominantly in oils. My main focus is the human form, and whether it’s a portrait, or a figure in the landscape, my aim is always to portray a feeling of ‘aliveness’, that movement is about to follow, using a combination of the light, the figure, and the air around it that fills the painting.
I studied at Central St Martins, and most recently, portrait painting at Heatherley School of Fine Art.
My recent work has been selected for The Society of Women Artists 2020 Exhibition, the INGDiscerning Eye 2020, and the Holly Bush Emerging Woman Painter Prize Finalists Exhibition 2020.
