I am a figurative painter who works predominantly in oils. My main focus is the human form, and whether it’s a portrait, or a figure in the landscape, my aim is always to portray a feeling of ‘aliveness’, that movement is about to follow, using a combination of the light, the figure, and the air around it that fills the painting.

I studied at Central St Martins for five years, and most recently, portrait painting at Heatherley School of Fine Art.
